King Raymond is the King of the Ripple Kingdom. Raymond made his debut in Gerold's retelling of the Dark Matter Cataclysm in Chapter 13 of Kirby: Behind the Scenes 3: Chronicles of Darkness.
He is the husband of Layla and the father of Rippla.
Appearance[]
Raymond is a Fairy who has silver hair, even since his youth and he has green eyes. He wears a fancy looking mint green shirt with yellow buttons, white sleeve tips and a white collar, dark blue pants and brown shows. He has pale sky blue wings on his back. As the King of the Ripple Kingdom, Raymond wears a gold crown with 4 rubies on it. Other than his clothing, Raymond hasn't changed much over the 20 years since the Dark Matter Cataclysm.
20 years ago, Raymond looks much the same as he does now except he was wearing light green shoulder pads and a star emblem on the left side. He also wore this when he and Layla brought Rippla to Planet Popstar 16 years ago.
Originally, Raymond looked much like his present day look but he wore a gold crown with 5 tips and 5 rubies on it. He also had visible chin hairs and his eyebrows were thicker.
